Okayy so myy first encounter with Keri Hilson was when I was 12 in 2004. I was going to scchool with her little brother (kipper) and I ended up havving to do a project with him, so I went to his house and I met her there. But that was wayy before keri was KERI! But later on I movved out of lithonia and to East Point.

Then I met her at Lenox Mall. It was actually had been by total mistake. I didn’t check my twitter account that morning like i usually do and i use carols daughters shmpoos and I needed some more so the only store I know about in atlanta was at leox mall. So when i got there it was like hella people and V103 radio was there. So I saw the poster saying she was doing a signing there for her cd, and i freaked! i ran outside to my moms car and grabbed my IAPW cd and got in line. I was like late so I was almost one of the last person in line. But anywho finally I like walked up to her and she was super sweet and she was just smiling, but there was this one dude who is like rushing her and she was like hold up home boi! But we actually got into a full on conversation. I was telling her about how muched I lovved her musi and her cd and I told her about the site and vicki, and all that. And she was super surprised. She was actin like I was the first fan she ever met, and she told me she liked my bow in my hair and that we used the same shampoo. But after I left she gave me a hug and told me she was gonna visit the fansite, (and I don’t think she actually know, but when i was walking off I ould hear her say “I justed lovved her. She was so cute!”)
It was truely a dream come true. She’s phenomenal!

I arrived in New Orleans at 10:30 in the morning. I was so excited just to be here. Because the help, was still cleaning the downstairs  had went to the bedroom to sleep. I slept for about 3 hours and when I woke up that’s when the fun began. I had received messages from (Twitter names) @Stassi09 @YanniAppleSeedz and @TeamKeri_Global saying hurry up and write @Stassi09 because we were gonna be able to meet Keri. So I did just that and hopped in the shower. @Stassi09 sent a message back saying we can meet her at 3:45 at Keri’s hotel before she left for sound check. It was 3:25 so I rushed to get ready and left about 3:40. I got to the hotel @ 3:47 and I was looking around like where is Keri, lol. I waited until 4:10 but no Keri so I though I missed her. At 4:18 Harvey called me and said they were running late so I could meet her later. I went back to where I am staying and got ready for the concert. I wore black white and gold to represent Keri Hilson CD In A Perfect World. All the songs she performed were great. I don’t know when but Keri has male dancers now!! After Keri performs I was trying to meet up with @Stassi09 and @JRaePoint_oh so I’m texting @Stassi09 and when I was just about to meet up with them my phone died. The time was 8:50. I still got up to find them but I had no luck so I went to sit back down. After the concert and traffic, I was finally able to charge my phone. I had about 10 text messages along with a voicemail. SOme were from @Stassi09 @TeamKeri_Global and Harvey. I was sad because I thought I had missed the chance of a lifetime. Little did I know, by the time I got back Keri was having dinner and was still willing to meet me. It was about 3:30 in the morning. After I got on Twitter and wrote a few people @MissKeriBaby in particular we decided that Sunday would be better since I was staying until Monday. My dream was still alive so I went to bed about 5:00 still happy. After sleeping for three and a half hour I woke up and got right on twitter. I saw that Harvey asked where I was staying so I told him. After that I relaxed for a little while until I got in contact with Roberta. We were getting things together so I could meet Keri. This time my phone wasn’t going to die and if it did I was going to have back up, so I charged my phone plus my spare. At about 1:15 I was getting ready to head down to the Convention Center. After getting ready I left about 1:50. By that time (don’t know for sure) Roberta had told me to be at The Ritz Carlton Hotel at 3:30 to meet Keri. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. I hurried back to the Bed & Breakfast I was staying at to freshen up for Keri. I left about 3:20 on my way to the hotel. I arrived at 3:31, yes I was one minute late because I had to walk from the front to the back. I immediately texted Roberta to tell her I was there and I waited. I wasn’t in any type of rush because I know Keri was busy but while I was waiting I was so nervous so I called my boo so I would calm down. After a little while Roberta called and asked me to come outside because that’s where they were. I saw the official vehicle pull up with the tinted windows and that was the first time I saw Keri close up (she was still in the car though). When the car stopped I was standing back from the door and Keri gets out!!!!!!!! OMG she is so beautiful. We hug and she is basically just saying thank you and she’s happy I got to meet her. I was telling her everyone on Twitter said hi and she was like we are crazy (in a good way). I knew she was busy so we chatted (for a little) and she signed my In A Perfect World jacket. After that we took two pictures and said our goodbyes. While she was getting in the car she said she was going to the convention center and I could come. I hoped in my car and took off. I had got stuck in traffic so she arrived before me but I was still able to listen because it was on Sirius radio. At that very moment I was the happiest person in the world. I was able to accomplish a dream of mine because of a very sweet person named Keri Lynn Hilson. If you ever get a chance, make someone’s dream come true because it will be something they never forget!

ook imma start off when i got the DM from Ro that keri wanted to meet me then she(Ro) asked me for my number! which is when i typed all those random letters and everybody was wondering wat was goin on! so OF COURSE i cud barely breath, EXTRA hyped! soo… i had to wait for her to give me more info. now its like 2:30 and she DM’s again sayin that keri wants me to meet her @ this hotel and i had to be there for 3:45. mind u my aunt is takin a nap! blah blah blah they takin their precious time and we dont leave until 3:50. so harvey calls me and asks me where im at, and at this point we’re not even close so he tells me to meet them at the dome and they’ll see if i can meet her there and to call him when we get there! we get there, i call him, and he says security wont let us back there soo.. he had to work somethin out. blah blah blah she was rehearsing and the show was bout to start so they told me i wud get to meet her after she finishes on stage. soo we go into the stadium and we’re extra energetic! i was on the phone with ayanna at first and her and beans are my witnesses! i was deadass boo’in ppl and yellin keris name! lmaoo sooo the show starts and keri’s SLAYSSSS like 15 songs and when she sung got ur back yall KNO i had to raise my sign up high! lol but bottomline she SLAYED on stage! ok soo she finishes at 8:16 and we leave and go to the lobby and i dm’d ro askin if that offer still stood! and nowww im WAITING and WAITING! lmaoo so at like 10:40 i left the stadium and went to find my mom nem & jbeans went to see alicia! but little did anyone kno, gladys knight decides to take her good old time and go over her time by an WHOLE hour! and btw when i was waiting my mom got a pic with idris elba! but anyways everyone started leavin cus gladys was taking forever INCLUDING jbeans. so now its us four and its like 11:45! and we continued to wait until like 12:52 when harvey and ro got back at me and told me to meet keri at this restaurant called august. and right before my mom had JUS said that we were leaving at one if i didnt get a response. so we hopped in the car and tried to get there as fast as possible. but the concert had jus let out and traffic was HORRIBLE! every road we needed to turn on was blocked off and the others were one ways!! it took us 30 mins to get to the place! we ended up gettin out and walkin while my mom found away around! so find the place and see harvey in a truck! we speak blah blah blah he says that keri was in a meetin havin dinner or wat ever and that she was gon leave for a minute jus to meet us and he goes to get her and my mom and decide they had to go to the bathroom, so they go and like right when they come back harvey comes back and says they he’s tryna pull keri away. so i decided i had to use the bathroom and me and beans we to the bathroom/ look for keri and wen we’re goin back an angelic woman walks thru a doorway followin harvey!! i gasp and she looks up and i go “keriii!” then she goes “stassii!! i noticed u from ur pic!” (btw she says it RIGHT and cute! lmao) and i gave her a big ass hug!! then she spoke to jbeans & hugged & she goes “ooh i see u rockin houndstooth, stassi wheres ur?” im like “ummm… at home??” lmao and she goes “**laughs** its ok!” then im like “but im wearing one of ur favorite colors. gray!” blah blah blah and she thanks us for drivin to see her, we tell her she slayed, and then i tell her that my mom and aunt wants to meet her also! so we walk back to the front and on the way i spill all the tea on the shade my aunt throws at her im like “ok let me tell u bout my aunt up here, shes wants to meet u now, but she STAYS throwing shade at u!” then keri laughed and was like “me? why me?” and im like “because shes a hater and she hates on everybody” and jbeans cosigned which is why i think keri mistook us for cousins! so keri was rollin like “yall are crazy” as we walked in where my mom mem was. and they were starstruck! my aunt hugged her first and keri goes “which one is mom?” and my mom was like “mee keri! omg ur are soo beautiful!” and keri was thanking them and tellin them how she jus had to stop her meeting to me us because she LOVES her fans and wanna give back to them in anyway she can! and she said that we inspires her and stuff. and while shes talkin i snap a random pic of her fixing her hair and she like “ooh yall wanna take pics? come on!” i took mine first, then jbeans took hers. & when i was takin keri and jbeans’ i made a mistake and pressed the button and they wasnt ready then keri goes “STASSI” like we’ve been sisters for all our lives! lol and im like “oops my bad! retake!” lmaoo then my mom and aunt took one with then two and keri! then i asked keri did she see my poster in the crowd and she was like nah but she saw it on twitter and i show it to her again and she like “oooh i love it! ur crazy!” and then i asked her to take a pic of it and she did! and my mom was hasseling me talkin about keri has to go back, im like “ma lemme alone! keri loves me!” and then i give her the gifts and she sees they garretts first and she like “ooh how’d u get this?” im like “online!” blah blah blah then she asks harvey whens her next cheat which happens to be today and she does a lil happy dance and we all laugh cus it was too cute! then i had to help her find the shirt because my mom decides to put it under all the gift tissue! and when she looked at it she laughed and was like awww… i love it!” and then i asked to take a pic with that and my moms still on my back and once again im like “ma lemme lone!” and i was like “and i wanna see u wear it too keri!” and she was like “i will! and everybody’s gonna be like ‘keri, who’s stassi?” lmaoo then my mom was like “ok, we have to let keri get back to her meeting so bye keri!” then she says bye and hugged all us, then she hugged me two more times and we were all like “bye keri we love u” and she was like “love yall too! bye stassi!” and i was like awww she singled me out! then we left and ALL our lives were forever slayed, mines the most i think cus like 20 minutes later she gives me a shoutout!! i fuckin love my big sis keri!! NObody can tell me ANYTHING negative about her! and we also saw nene from DHWOA and she ignored my mom ol tranny! and we saw joe, amber rose, and we saw jada pinkett in her truck! and also during the show keri was sayin how much we inspired her and how we’re gonna love this first single

Lol okay soooo on July 3, 2010 me & stassi were on our journey/mission to Essence Music Fest. Stassi had told me earlier that day that we were going to be able to meet Keri at 3:30 at the Ritz. So her mom RUSHED us down there but when we arrived it was hard to catch up with Harv & Ro so eventually Ro said that we would be able to meet Keri after the show. We went into the concert & it started right on time BUT Keri didn’t come out on the stage right away BUT when it was time for her performance she came out on top of the world! She killed her performance! She was energetic, she looked great, she sounded AMAZING & she even brought out El Debarge! Me & Stassi were standing up the WHOLE time showing our support. After the show we thought Harv or Ro was going to hit us up right away…but little did we know Keri had interviews & press stuff to do backstage, so we ended up waiting HOURS after her performance. As time went by me, stassi, her mom & aunt met back up & were just outside patiently waiting, hungry & all lol. At about 12:50 stassi’s phone received the phonecall we were waiting on with directions to meet up with Keri at a restuarant a few blocks away. So we flew to the car! Few Blocks away right?? Traffic was HORRENDOUS it took us a lil longer to arrive there, but we made it! & saw Harvey sitting in the truck while walking to the restaurant! He brought us in & had us wait for him to go & try to pull Keri out of a meeting. Meanwhile me & stassi went to the restroom upstairs & while walking back downstairs we saw Harvey turning from the hallway with thou KeriSUS RIGHT behind him!!! It was moving in slow motion I tell u! ASDFGHJKL! So she spoke to us & hugged us & I introduced myself & she noticed my shirt & liked it. She said it was really cute! So we mosied on down the hall & Stassi was telling Keri about her aunt & I was agreeing w/ her because it was true I witnessed it firsthand BUT little did I know Keri took it as if I was a cousin & not another KeriKrew member who was just agreeing tht kinda sucked but I wasnt trippin I was still LMAO & Keri was laughing at us & said “You girls are crazy!” So we got into the lobby & Keri met Stassi’s mom & aunt & we all took pics. & when i stood next to her I felt like I was outta my body! 1. because she was taller than i expected & 2. because i couldnt believe that this was happening! We showed her our posters & she loved them (im soo dumb cause i didnt get her to take a pic w/ mine smh) & she opened Stassi’s gifts which she loved btw. We then decided it was time to leave & let Keri continue on her night. She hugged us all & while walking out I turned around & asked could I ask a question. I asked her when the single was dropping. She couldnt say the exact date but that they were wrapping it up & that it would be soon. Keri is sooooooooo kool shes AMAZING in & out ! I cant even explain I have no words! She said she loves her fans & she insisted on waiting & meeting up. She said we motivate & inspire her which is phenomenal because she does exact same thing for us! I remember the first time I met Keri Hilson. It was late July of last year. she was at 106 and park retiring her Knock You Down video and my sis, Jon(another kerikrew member that I just met that very same day), my best friend and I were all waiting outside for her to leave. We knew if we went inside to watch the show, we were not gonna get a chance to meet her. Conveniently enough the weather was horrible! There were strong winds and heavy rain. The wind was so strong that every body’s umbrella broke, and the rain was so heavy we were soaked in a matter of seconds. but we didn’t care cuz we had to meet Keri. Now to my knowledge there are three ways u could exist 106 & park. Two in the front and one in the back. The rain was on and off so when it calmed down, we would walk around the building to see if she was leaving. We did this for about a good 2hrs, then we saw her driver turn the corner. We ran to the back of the building and waited for her to come out. Another group of people who just showed
up waited with us. At this point the rain went from heavy to a light drizzle. Shortly after that the rain stops and we see a BIG dude walk out the door then. We run towards the door and he yelled “Stay right there” lol everybody just froze. Then Keri walked out. Everybody wanted to move but they were too scared cuz her bodyguard was HUGE. But then I thought to myself, I waited 2hrs in this rain, I’m getting my CD signed(unless of course she said no…but Keri would never do that). So I moved closer and her bodyguard told us to stop again, I then yelled “Keri can u please sign my CD?” she said “sure I’ll sign anything u want me to sign.” Her bodyguard told us to wait until she got in the car(so she wouldn’t get wet), and to hand everything to him, he’ll give it to her. So I gave him my CD and Jon gave him his magazine. I tried to take good pictures but at this point I was so star struck that my hands wouldn’t stay steady. The funny part is that, I was talking so much junk
about how cool I was gonna be. NEGATIVE! Lol I could barely talk. I was so nervous I had a knot in my throat. to make this long story a little shorter, she talked to us for a good 10 mins and asked us our twitter names. She then told us that she recognized our names and that she was happy to meet us. This moment was so surreal. I was in such awe, that when she asked me my name, my response was “uhh” Jon had to tell me my name (here’s video proof that I forgot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5H3vZHPlSg lol) I couldn’t believe it, I was never star struck a day in my life. To be honest I was never really a big fan of anyone to go out of my way to meet them either. But during this stage in my life, Keri helped me get through a lot of things, and she also helped me grow as a person. So to sum it all up I had to go meet her and every time she’s in NY that’s what I do, give her my love and support. Keri Hilson has to be the most humble and down to earth person I have ever met, and needless to say celebrity. And because of that, She’ll continue to have my love and support with any and every decision she’ll make in her future.

ok imma start off to say that KERI FREAKING LYNN HILSON IS THE MOST KINDEST WOMAN NEXT TO MY MOTHER (BEFORE..HEHEHE..I JOKE) TO EVER STEP FOOT INTO MY PRESENCE!!! SECONDLY THAT WHOLE SHOW WAS A FALSE AD!!! THE BLACK CARPET STARTED AT ______…..and THE SHOW DIDN’T START TIL FREAKING 10 PM!!!AND WE HAD TO BE 21??? OPEN BAR??? REALLY!!!! *serious look* FOR CANCER???*serious look* REALLY??? AAANNNYYWHO!! it all started at 6:30 on July 21. we (Kye and I) went thru HELL trying to get in that place. HOWEVER i am not giving out any info on how that happened MIND YA BIZZNESS. Soooo ummm YEEAA!!! We got on in the building…the first thing we saw was Keri!!! But we felt it was a little bit too soon to try to shout n yell out KERI..or attempt to run up too her. In a place like that…we had to keep it classy and cute. So we mosey’d along over to where the Fashion Show was goin to be. We stood throughout the whole show…..just about….then we were gonna leave because…(the place was in the middle of NOWHERE….there was a ten minute walk to where we needed to be from a wooded area) BUT WHO CARES!!! THAT WAS KERI an WE WERE DETERMINED!! So few peeps were leaving….we edged our way behind Hilson. TO SUM ERTHANG UP…. we viewed Harvey BOSSING IT UP on a lady….and Roberta gettin a lil AGGY and *ROLLS EYES*…..ummm imma leave it at that….we followed Keri back stage…which is where we ran into Kip and Mama Hilson and Char. Then some old hagg came n pushed us all out!!..So we ran round the other side to the door. We seen Keri come out….she did one last Black Carpet shoot…then out the door to take pics infront of her murel (PAINTING for the short bus peeps)…We then went out the other door and held up our sign JUST AS SHE WAS GETTING READY TO LEAVE!!!….. She saw the sign and came over and gave us 10 minutes of her time that she could have been packing to leave for New York. Freddy O took our pics (online and our personal)…. then she browsed over the sign and sed “I KNOW EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE MEMBERS” {THANKS JENNIFER!!! =) } We DID ask for her to tweet Jasmine (Ja22yBabyy) for her Bday tweet…but because she was in a rush…she may have forgotten (SORRY JAZZY =/ ).

WERE WE NERVOUS TO MEET KERI……YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! When she hugged me…..I ALMOST DROPPED…so did KYE lol!!!….and thats no lie!!! CAll me/us OBSSESSED…..or watever u want. Keri is an amazing person. WE WALKED 2 HRz HOME FOR KERI….I DO NOT WILL NOT EVER REGRET THAT NIGHT….AND IF I COULD DO IT ALL AGAIN…..(EVEN THO I DID FIND MYSELF SAYIN DAMN WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT) *SLAPZ* I AM SOOOO GLAD WE DIDNT!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!

Okay so the day started of cool. I meet up with @MizzSexiiBaby (Ramo) at 5 at the east point marta station. Then we went down to North Ave station, and caught a  bus to Armour St. and walked about 10 minutes through the wood and everything to get to this Art gallery. SO when we get there were waiting in line and the lady says that theres a $20 minimum you have to donate. So I only had $15 and Ramo had like $5. But then a different lady came out an said that you have to be 21 or older. So I was like WTF! I’m only 18. I’m not even near 21. So Ramo and I were like sitting on the stairs and thats when we saw Keri arrive. Unfortunately she didnt see us, but she looked fabulous as always. So anywho we decided that we werent gonna get in so we were gonna start our long journey back to East Point, and took us an hour and a half to get there! So were walking and this dude was lik “Where are yall going? The party is the other way!” So we had told him that we could get in cause were not 21. So he was like “Do yall need a ride” And we said yes. SO he was tellin us in the car how he was workin there and he could get us in as long as we could like give him like $5 each for his girl that worked at the bar. So we gave him some extra money and we were in. When we got there it was amazing we saw her meeting people and doing interviews. We saw her walk the black carpet! It was amazing. So pretty much we just watched the show ad nothing really happened til after the show. Ooh and the show was suppose to start at 8, but of course it didnt start til 10 and ended at like 1230. So we followed this small group of people that were following Harvey and Keri backstage. And when we got back there they were  doing an interview and this little old whit man was like you can be back her blah blah blah! So we waited at the door she was gonna exit out of. So all these people were like trippin so I had made her a poster, a bright ass pink poster that had houndstooth and photos of her on it. There was no possible way she could have missed it. So she wasnt payin attention to the door behind her so we ran around to the front holding this huge poster and finally she turns around about to leave and harvey is like rushin her off and she says “OMGosh! HEY!”  and she like walks over to us and she like “omgosh hi!” and she asked who MizzSexiiBaby was and ramo was all cheesin! Lmao! And she was tellin us how she was so happy to meet us and that it people like us who go out of their way to meet her and support everthing she does and she said she loves to take positive energy like that to the studio with her. Then we took some pics I gave her my gift and we were on our ong journey back home.  It was truly a phenomenal night!

My name is Darielle and my story on meeting Keri Hilson is wonderful.I met Keri Hilson at the 2010 Essence Festival in New Orleans,LA. My grandma worked the Essence Festival so she got me into the v.i.p. section. Keri came out looking so pretty as usual.She was sitting there talking to some other star including Boris Kodjoe. I walked up to talk to her to speak and meet her.I was pretty nerves but she’s really nice and a big people’s person.She said let’s take a picture and my friend snapped us up!
